A premium new take on the Stan Smith

Adidas is heading to court once again to defend its Three-Stripe Mark.

On Wednesday, Adidas America Inc. and parent company Adidas AG filed a lawsuit against Ecco USA Inc. and Ecco SKO adidas stan smith (http://www.alleskodk.com/stan-smith) A/S. The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court of Oregon, claims that Ecco has infringed against Adidas’ decades-old trademark by “offering for sale and selling footwear featuring three and four parallel stripes on the side of the shoe.”

Adidas Originals collaborates with premium European textile manufacturers Kvadrat this summer for a premium new take on the Stan Smith. Presented in three colorways, the Scandinavian textile company lends their high quality fabric to the classic tennis shoe in a contemporary plaid print formed by detailed dots in contrasting geometric patterns. The fabric is featured in navy, burgundy, and light blue base layers with complementing tones for the polka-dotted patterns and leather heel tabs.

The Kvadrat x adidas Originals Stan Smith adidas stan smith sko (http://www.alleskodk.com/stan-smith) is available July 6th at select retailers globally.Stan Smith, the man, is as timeless as the Adidas sneaker that bears his name.

While nearly every top taste-making celebrity — from Gisele Bündchen and Hailey Baldwin to Jessica Alba and Kendall Jenner — has made the Adidas sneaker a perfect piece of their everyday wardrobe, few shoppers know that the face stamped on the tongue is real, despite having once been the best American tennis player and winner of the 1971 U.S. Open and 1972 Wimbledon tournaments.
