360 featured in total kit car mag.
check out the fake engine cover. I wonder how much that cost...nice touch.
-
nice 360 Stradale Rep, is that a fake engine that extreme supply?
-
That will be very similar to the fake engine extreme produce. Those engine covers and airboxes are real & have been moulded already, as have the side panels. Work on the murci has prevented a full engine kit being offered yet. If you wanted to try to assemble and arrange one yourself I would think extreme could supply the raw moulds.

Okay, You have a sweet 360. Where did you get the steering wheel and does it have a airbag in it? Did it cost you alot? The color of your 360 is the color I want for my 430 but a Metallic Silver with blackened rims. On your center console what is the red button for and did you change the console or the normal that comes with a Pug? And again awesome 360.
-
I think the pics are from here:

because the guy is registered as BraatGT on kitcarforum.

The car isn't mine, I wish have one but nowadays isn´t possible. Yes, grey Ferrari pics are from http://www.members.lycos.nl/elixer355/build.htm .
Argus, the start button is on the centre console in the red Extreme. In the grey car, it's on the steering (pic). DNA 4thirty will have the button on steering too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS4fqwZDlF4

as you know, Ive been following this quite closely with you and its starting to come together nicely. The only one thing that stands out is the suspension and wheel spacers. i feel that the rear and front wheels could be pushed out a bit more and the car lowered. get the arches painted black too and with the polypropelene sheets it will be awsome. what size wheels are you using?? a nice job.well done
-
there 19 "8.5 and 9.5 poss 10.5 back been that long since bought them when i get car back i will be lowering it when i get wheel arch liners to get close fit and try and get fake disc set made to bring wheels out may by extra set wheels and spacers poss 20s see how i get on http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo198/360lee2008/DSC00662.jpg any one no right hight for car off ground

and some ebay wins from last week, which I hope to put in place correctly, once I've got the car through the roadworthiness test (quite a bit to do for that), nice to have that sitting there. Wonder if a real F360 rear window would fit, anyone done it?

Thanks. Yes Plenums and frame. Genuine F360 airboxes on their way. Need to collect the rest of the bits, and then have the choice of making side panels or buying the real ones, plus the bulkhead. Don't want anything to let it down, but have to do some boring things in the meantime, incl exhaust (and bypass valvel for the v6...not so boring ;-), large "to-do" list, but am pleased its a car which should turn out fantastic in every respect.
Air suspension maybe.

Hi Brian ,I got a lot of my bits from astone ferrari (nick) including my engine bay side panels genuine s/h which I thought were a good price at £70 each his tell no is 07768 975059, cheers jd

Wow, thats a great price, Where I am in Ireland, even standard car parts (incl bits from the car breakers) are more expensive than Genuine Ferrari parts!. A few more bits added to my engine bay since the last pic, Bulgaria is proving an interesting place to source parts.

Frame, plenum, airboxes etc all bolted in, and there's even room for my ferrari carry on luggage at the back of that lot :-)
Nice to see this lot in the rear view mirror

Brian,
Luv the car mate, just wondering where you are in Ireland? Would love to have a look at your 360 some day. I use to have a BAD Design 355 Replica but had to sell >:(. I am living in Sligo and some day hope to get a 360 Replica. Your car is unreal. ;)
-
Thanks David,
I'm down in Co Clare, I also used to have a 355 replica, I always regarded the BAD as the best 355 kit in Europe (the AD355s in the US are pretty accurate). There's a white Extreme 360 for sale in Ireland, did you see that? Just fitted my 4 point harnesses today, a, totally loving the car.
Superb cruising these summer evenings now:

Hey Brian,
Sorry just getting back to you now. Cheers for the invite, would love to pop down some day and have a look. I don't have any pics of my old 355, sold it to a chap here in Sligo at a very good price as paint work was not the best. I used it as a daily driver and love it. Bought it back in 2007 down in Cahir. Yeah I think I could fit into your bucket seats :). There's not many extreme owners here in Ireland, there was Dan doing up another 360 in Kildare, Dan whatever happened to your build :(., was a sound fella. Where is the white 360 for sale? I saw one on Donedeal about a year ago for sale in Kerry, a 3.0 v6 Automatic, is that it?. Do you build kits yourself Brian? Thanks for the reply and again, would love to see your 360 someday. ;)
-
Correct, mine might be the only one on the road at this point. Yes that's the same white one in Kerry, he has a Lambo rep too. Dan is finishing his 360 in Mallow, hopefully won't be long now.
My last two cars I've purchased to finish off, already built- but you know what it's like, start looking deeper and find there's a whole lot more to do than you banked on, plus you want it spot on. You should have my full contact details per message on here, just give me a call David. There's a real beauty F360 in Co Limerick also with real plenums built by Mike, I've been trying to get to see it, it still has a GB registration.

Thanks Brian,
Is the Lambo replica an Extreme Mercy do you know? Also just wondering is your 360 a 3.0 v6? How does it sound against the real deal?
Thanks for the help and will defo get down to see your 360 someday ;)
-
Yes an extreme,
My 360 is on a D8 3L V6 406 coupe. I've no rear silencer, just the cat and wee box up front. Start up and under 2000 rpm sounds identical to a genuine 360!Challenge Stradale, peak revs don't come close though, the engine does not scream. I'm adding a bypas valve to cut out the other two boxes which could make it sound better than the real deal 1000-3500 rpm. For the MOT/NCT I have the quiet exhaust to bolt back on.
Thanks Brian,
