Why do you need snap-on tools for the build? there are cheaper ones that work fine, then only buy what you need. Appreciate you're gutted having them stolen, but don't let the thief ruin your plans.

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, the Peugeot 406 coupe (my 1999 model) outputs OBD1, which doesnt have all the sexy stuff OBD2 has. Its mostly error codes, so not much to play with. I was looking into gear change data, to wire an LED showing gear number, into the instrument panel and a few other things.

hi Brian! thanx for the input. real dash actually has temp and fuel fed in.... the only issue is if the OBD sends the info about temp and fuel etc... do you know if it does? or anyone else?

Realdash looks good,

I've been using this on my dash, in front of the 406 coupe instrument panel, fits well using the iPad mini (although this pic is not of the ipad mini):

With the the Supercars Speedometers app (handy MPH, as my car is in Kmh imported from Ireland, and not accurate anyway because of 19" wheels, also found the visual and sound alarm for over a preset speed limit useful). Only issue is it obscures the fuel and temp gauges.

It would be rather brilliant to have data on temp and fuel feeding into an app like Realdash, so I'm keen tyo see how you get on.

Magnificent!

Amazing in that colour and what a lovely finish. Legendary work by JD.
BBS challenge stradale wheels would look good on her IMHO.

Hopefully get a chance to see her, maybe at a car meet or something.

Super work. Am envious of that lovely windscreen and edging (I still can't seem to find the right stuff).

So no other users on here have their cars on the road. I guess this forum is winding down, or time has moved on, people selling their cars.

Recommend people go over to the Facebook group now, which is more active

Its a strange one, this forum hardly used now, and the combined Extreme/DNA facebook page which I thought might replace it, isn't that active (no build threads etc) Undecided . My hunch is 90%+ of these cars end up as garden ornaments or future (finished or unfinished) barn finds.

I was hoping there might be a chance to organised some meet ups.

Just checking out a 320mm wheel now, advertised on ebay, using a 23" monitor, increasing to actual size, and using this paper template to check:

It strikes me an awful lot of these  cars end up as ornaments, not being driven regularly (or never completed).
Appreciate this forum is pretty inactive now, as people move to the FB group, but I'd like to ask the question anyway. I bet there's not many.

Who uses their car at least weekly?

add your car model if you like. I'll start off:

1/ Yes. Extreme/Xotic F360

I used a universal 245mm MOMO on the 360, looks and feels great, but IMHO a 330/335 would better still. I've tried various sized wheels by printing image to scale and superimposing the Thrustmaster centre, to check if the spokes line up (you should do this before buying the wheel). Not found a 320 sized wheel that lines up, but would be good if you could find one. I fancy a black suede momo with yellow stitching now. You should be able to keep the paddleshift, and get the start button and manettino to work (I did, except the manettino, but know someone who did that too), see here:

I've done this mod twice, on the 355 replica originally back in 2009 (using Momo EVO [not too keen on the chrome bits on that wheel ended up spraying them black], as here:

and on the 360 I have now, as follows:

Oh, and be sure to keep the thrusrmaster F430 pedals if you have them, I've fitted those chromed cast pedals to my 360 they look and feel great (and work well)
15  Extreme Kits / Extreme 360 / Re: Power Steering fluid? on: September 15, 2018, 11:20:39 AM
Could be that. don't know where the PAS fluid reserviour is, however my steering felt stiff when I unplugged the speedo interface (in the passenger footwell on RHD cars), so do check the electrical connections too
