I've also used the 2 x F430 pedals and they work fine, unscrewing the tops from the F430 racing sim pedal set, grinding off the rear mould pattern, and bolting them securely in place:

Any idea how I can fit a ome wheel Sad

Assume you mean momo wheel. You'll need to choose a suitable one, eg like this (which I used), in this case a 350mm  http://www.redpowermotorsport.ie/p/7457666/momo-style-leather-steering-wheel.html, and for the 430 wheel mod, a suitable steering wheel boss kit. then look on ebay for a 2nd hand Thrustmaster F430 steering wheel (for PC). take the front and back off the wheel and sandwich the Momo wheel spokes (drilling a few small holes for the location lugs yo poke thru) with these, cutting away the boss area from the 430 racing sim wheel.

Hello infos a germany fk kit
125mm

Thanks for measuring, Looks similar to mine then. I'm still on my mission to get this lower!!!!! sooo many are riding too high (the giveaway that its a replica, before they spot anything else)
169  Extreme Kits / Extreme ChitChat / Re: Genuine 360 body on: August 07, 2015, 01:31:48 PM
You'd definitely be better off with an extreme replica 360 than that 360 bodyshell IMHO, Its just the bodyshell, no doors, no front and no running gear (ie a lot less than you see in those pics). I expect Mr Strange has been inundated with dreamers.

Thanks for you help!

wow, you guys did well, 9cm and 8cm clearance. You must have the correct roof height then. I just need to drop another 3 cm lower (giving a total of 70mm lowered rear end).

How can I get my hands on some of these Coil Springs Extreme used to sell?

Thanks

Very old news though

That's cool Smiley

Where is that from ??

You can pm Extreme sports cars on here as they can do you a 360 1 Smiley

Chris

You can get these from MR2kits in the UK, listed under their GTF parts, £300:

http://www.mr2kits.co.uk/shop.html

Some great posts on this thread, it'd be nice to see what you've all done regards the engine dept. That large engine bay for all to see is like a big shop window, no point in doing this in half measures!

Looks stunning Smiley well done .

Where did you source the parts ?

Chris

Thanks. Mostly on ebay, the ebay store of www.exoticcarparts.eu, parts3000, gat*ersatzteile in Germany (for the Plenums) and hillsmotors (who were quite superb, I got a great deal on a damaged engine frame, negotiated a lower price with them directly on the phone). I guess the whole lot came to £1500, maybe a little more

wow, really nice job there.. Love the way the light falls on it, I would be tempted to put some little white LED's so it lights it up at night..

Was thinking the same, and someone else suggested. Could end up like the Delorian time-machine though. I was messing around with the parts last week, and borrowed a laser projector from our dance studio room (works ok off the 12-240v car transformer). Need it 100% before I start doing proper lighting in there ;-)

Thanks Sean.

I think JD needs to have an index on his excellent build thread, I've a slow internet connection where I live, go back to page 50 and havn't seen the gear stick mod yet
176  Extreme Kits / Extreme 360 / Ride height?- can you help? on: July 29, 2015, 10:07:52 PM
My 360 replica's roof line is about 2.5cm higher than a genuine F360. I've enough room in the wheel arches to lower it. Unfortunately, the guy I purchased the car from, had some of the work oursourced, and doesn't know if it has lower springs on the rear (I suspect it does). Has coilovers on the front, with a couple of inches left.

I can easily waste money buying lower 406 Coupe 3L rear springs only to find the height end up the same (that happened to me with my 355 rep  Embarrassed). I've taken a pic of the offside rear suspension - the inboard part, and measured the ground clearance, 127mm)

Would any of you be kind enough to measure at the same place and tell me how much clearance you have (and if you have stock or lower ones, by Xmm?? )- THANKS

Very old post this, strange nobody replied. I guess we need more active users.

I did this to my 360, making the bulkhead tomorrow. Real ferrari F360 Modena parts (a few more in boxes). Will make brackets so the F360 upper engine frame acts as a cross brace between the rear shocker mount points.

178  Extreme Kits / Extreme 360 / Re: Gear knob and H gate- F360 on: July 29, 2015, 09:26:58 PM
Hi Brian page 63 in my build diary ,the gear lever is very easy to cut down I then fitted a sleeve on to what was left of the Oem pug gear-lever then welded a piece of 10mm stainless bar to this, threaded the end and fitted a genuine ferrari gear knob  hope this helps cheers jd

Hi JD, thanks for this!!

Its obviously tricky for many. Guess the original pug gear stick shaftends up in a state, hence the sleeve. will have a look on your build

Cheers

Brian

I've not seen one done well on the Extreme 360 yet, can someone prove me wrong?Huh

Have seen a couple of Extreme 360's for sale which look like they've had a go, and given up (I guess because the old 406 Coupe knob and wide piece on the stick and very tricky, if not impossible to remove).

I cant wait to get rid of that gear stick gaiter and awful looking gear stick/knob
180  Extreme Kits / Extreme 360 / Re: Pictures of the Extreme 360 on: July 19, 2015, 09:58:43 PM
Hi Brian ,I got a lot of my bits from astone ferrari (nick) including my engine bay side panels genuine s/h which I thought were a good price at £70 each his tell no is 07768 975059,  cheers jd

Wow, thats a great price, Where I am in Ireland, even standard car parts (incl bits from the car breakers) are more expensive than Genuine Ferrari parts!. A few more bits added to my engine bay since the last pic, Bulgaria is proving an interesting place to source parts.
