Stunning, such a great colour. The stance is good, looks wonderful on the trailer too!

Hi Dave, I can't make that show due to other commitments, heard its a good one though. I'm intrigued as to whose card you've bought.
Are you in the Italian Supercar replica group or DNA & Extreme group on FB? maybe chat there

Hi Dave,

Where are you based? be good to meet up with our 360's.

Can't say I built mine, but have spent the last couple of years making things good on my Xotic Kits F360 (who based their kit on the Extreme 360, but modified it before making the panels).

Working on the engine bay airflow, I discovered the window scuttle bulkhead is still in place, unlike extreme kits, and joy of joy, the chassis number is intact. I believe the area behind the bonnet and windscreen is narrower than Extreme kits too. How does it compare to yours?

JD's hunch was spot on.

That air suspension you fitted blew me away! great achievement and you did it, despite the risks. I think it's paid off massively. Am going to try and find your facebook page post, must be done!!

HI Alex was it your car at Stoneleigh this week end with the air suspension - I liked that!  Who did it for you etc?

Hi Simon,
Yes it was, I ordered the air ride off eBay and fitted it myself, it was quite simple really. I posted the mounts for the rear bags on the Facebook page with dimensions etc. If you are looking to get the car lower, just drop 20mm off the height of the fabricated rear piece.

 Cheers
Alex

My genuine F360 one does that (on the standard extreme/volvo hinges). Holes probably too elongated. End up pestering the wife to give me a hand.

Had a bit of a head scratching moment yesterday.
I had noticed that my tailgate had dropped backwards past the rear wings by a good inch +
Not a problem, the hinge bolts must of come loose and moved backwards. I'll just push the tailgate back and tighten the bolts up again.
Well, after trying and it not working, I remembered that when I got the tailgate into the correct position, I welded the washers to the hinge, to make it easier to refit if needed. So no more movement.

So how in the hell has my tailgate moved. The hinges or the tailgate wouldn't of stretched HuhHuhHuhHuh

Anyway, I removed the tailgate, checked everything for breaks or just movement, nothing wrong here, I then ground off the welded washers, elongated the holes, not necessary but just in case, and refitted the tailgate.
Job done, fits perfect again, but still can't see how it had that much overhang past the rear wings

Impressive work, making it real!

Particularly interested in how you've merged the rear lid grills into the extreme tailgate, excellent

Two great things there: Curved windscreen top, glass door windows. Very nice indeed and seriously on my wish list

Ok so been on with the wiring faults today , the  wiper relay combined with a bad earth fixed the wiper fault ,

Can I ask about the wiper fault, my wiper (406 coupe) doesn't stop at the correct return (resting) position, am looking for clues.

Cheers

Love the engineering gone into the bulkhead, looks right and will strengthen the car too.

Such a shame this excellent work is coming to an end, but JD you must remember, if for any reason it doesn't work out for you at your new place, please come back, you could even go mobile, and be the Nakai-San of the tailor made Ferrari creation, that legendary guy who does bodykits on the 911. Food, accommodation etc provided, just get a big van!
