1  Extreme Kits / Extreme Murcie / Re: extreme murci seals on: November 09, 2017, 09:02:19 PM
The seal between the door and glass - inside & outside , you may want to consider this seal for a mercedes which I have in my posession and is definately long enough for a Murcielago door. The price has increased since last year , so maybe shop around.

The balloon profile is very good for pressing against the glass and the trim lip fits onto the body panel.

With the car looking that good - could I make a suggestion and you consider a bit of masking and matte black to dress the inner door panel more to original as you will find the window rubber's etc will be far less obvious and provides a point where the door panel trim blends .

Then , follow the profile with your dash edge ....  and bolt together to achieve that replica look...     Smiley Smiley

Looks to me like you have created the front part of the dash which is seperate anyway and is the screen vent.

All you need to do is remove a strip of surface material to create a ledge , which you can bolt through with studs in the dash.

Hi , Steve,
Love the project and what you achieved thus far .. Smiley
Please feel free to field any questions my way and at the very least can offer Elsawin wiring diagram pages.
I am going to ask if you have the CAN gateway module , the central electrics module and the convenience module aswell as the ECU's you mentioned before . Also what fuel tank / pump / level sender do you have ? .
The canbus can then be long-programmed to remove unused items .
Oh , and was the donor car manual or auto ?
6  Extreme Deals / Buy and Sell Forum / Re: Centre console , grab Handle & Door Panels ,Dash Vents - For Sale on: November 01, 2013, 11:54:04 AM
The parts are all genuine 'lambolambo' parts , some as used by CdRsKuLL in his build diary. I paid (a lot) extra for them to be delivered in one piece , not cut to fit in smaller box.
These parts were moulded off the genuine article - all RHD .
The centre console consists of 7 pieces , I have attached oem mounting brackets , and to the upper console. The lid hinge is next part needing to be made , I am part way into this as I do have original dimensions.
The grab handle was extra cost item.
The door panels , are 4 piece items , I have fitted a mount bracket and made brackets to mount the top panel.
I have close-up pictures of all mounts to aid fabrication and to see how it is done.
Please email me for more pics / info.

8  Extreme Kits / Extreme Murcie / Hermera Wheels - Exact replica on: March 15, 2013, 09:55:34 AM
I have decided to buy a set of replica 'Hermera' wheels ( in Black) to see how good they are . I think they look fantastic , they are exact in size , pcd & offset. They are also available in silver.
They worked out to £1987 with all costs and fees , which I think is good. I do not know what people have been paying for wheels.

Here's a pic.

9  Off Topic / General Chitchat / Re: UK registrtion question on: May 11, 2012, 09:53:27 AM
First - You will need to decide whether it will be built using new or used components , depending on this you need Form v55/4 or v55/5 . On this form you only need to fill in the first few rows which are categories the vehicle will fit into, and engine number ( so you need an engine to start- but can be changed later).
Submit this form and you will receive a form with your allocated chassis number . Return this form once the number has been stamped into the chassis and the form is stamped by a garage confirming that the number has been permanently stamped into the chassis.
Then build your vehicle , and when ready go for IVA test , then you will be allocated either - a new registration number, age related registration number or original registration number if you use enough components.

Hi, Don't turn off the HID's on dip - not  necessary , just turn the main beam on and off...
11  Extreme Deals / Buy and Sell Forum / Re: Lamborghini Murcielago Door Locks on: February 02, 2011, 12:53:43 PM

I have been looking into these door catches over the last few months and the only mercedes models with the angled door striker is indeed the 115 chassis type.Other models such as the 123 chassis (230) look very similar - but do not have an angled operation to them.
The definitive part numbers are as follows -:
L/H Rear Door catch [ 115 730 01 35 ]
L/H Striker(same front & rear) [ 115 720 05 04 ]
R/H Rear Door Catch [ 115 730 02 35 ]
R/H Striker(same front & rear) [ 115 720 06 04 ]

Enter these numbers at ' http://et.mercedes-benz-clubs.com/mbc/welcome?locale=en '
for description and price(euro's).

To modify these close to lambo spec would require 2x saia V4LS microswitches per lock and a superseal 0-011054 super seal connector, then a small mount plate and cylinder added to press the microswitches.

12  Extreme Deals / Buy and Sell Forum / Re: complete murcie frame!!! on: August 22, 2010, 11:22:09 AM
That is actually a fairly well known frame from the USA , it is extremely well bent and far from new...!, I am summising it is a motorsport frame by the fuel filler port in the RH rear window aperture , the angle of twist on the LH door hinge mount should indicate the amount of force that has been subject too...
The front wheel arch section does have large piece missing , the front lower section is completely different and the rear end is sort of straightened with some steel welded back in , and a large piece of the rear backbone has been removed.
I have attached a pic from a few years ago of this frame.

F A O = "For Attention Of "  to clarify  and wheels are gallardo , but do look nice - not quite wide enough though..

Hi , cdr,

I must post some pics of my spoiler some time , I went for 36v actuators - might sound a bit odd , but it reduces the speed to about 1mm per second of travel - which is all you need with the fairly aggressive leverage angles it operates from.
Making a support panel first , the rear panel is far to flimsy without one.
Cheers , Neil

This is a company fairly close to me , but list a lot of products - the craft section may provide some product ideas for making small moulds.

Cheers , Neil

p.s - Top work by the way ..! Cheesy
