Suspension
« on: November 02, 2008, 08:00:54 PM »
Well anyone thats been out in extremes project smartcar will know it needs its suspension uprating as its like being in a boat.. lol

I have been looking into gettng some of these, infact I'm 99% sure and just wanted other peoples views before the wallet comes out.

There just over £200 for a full set of springs and shocks which I didnt think was a bad price at all. I could just change the springs for £100 but whilst its all apart you might as well stick some new shocks on. I would be also doing the brakes but they have just been done before I got the car so no need on them.

Steve

These are the wheels you want, 15 inch to keep it low, and cheap. They need wide as poss tyres on though!!!

I don’t think it’s a must to have new wheels but the front ones are thin!!! But maybe that’s a good thing, they make the car look daft
