Hi guys had a gud half day on her today doing all the little jobs you don't see ,adjusting gear cables  making the brackets for the plenums to permantly fix it to the pug engine, finished off the dumbly gearbox oil tank and got that primed ready to paint satin black ,then I wraped the exhaust pipes with heat wrap  1 to keep the heat away from cables etc and 2 to make them look gud , not much to take pics of tho , cheers jd

Hey dan cheers mate , feel like I'm on the finishing straight now .

Hi guys ,been on with the little jobs that don't get seen but make for a better job in the end, anyway had an hour on her last night before having a BBQ and finished up putting the dash back together ,well happy with the way it looks ,also bonded the oil tank on to the inlet manifold, I fitted two riv nuts to this so I can attach the bracket from the plenums to it ,i had to notch the bracket a bit though so will paint this again, here's a few pics for now cheers jd .

no time line for this one I'm afraid, I get on it when I can. Once the dash is sorted it's off to a rolling road for initial VEMS tune up, then if nothing breaks it'll make a trip to high Wycombe for a fine tune by one of the VEMS software guru's. I'd like to see what this engine can really achieve with all it's restrictions taken out of the equation, i.e. exhaust, injectors, air filter and original ecu.
