Stoneleigh kit car show 6-7th May
« on: March 28, 2012, 12:52:21 PM »
Will anybody be going this year or know if Extreme will be there? I very much doubt that my Murci will be ready in time however I will be there in my other kit car if the weather is nice or my daily drive if its raining.

Would be great to see some of Extremes cars there especially a finished Murci.

I'm hoping to go to get some bits for my 355 but wondering/ worried  about all this rain and flooding :o will there be much there as its a long way to go for a poor turn out or flooded show ground!

There should be a lot there even if the weather is poor as a lot of it is indoor. Looking at the weather forecast it may dry out a little before weekend anyway, at least that what Im hoping for as I was planning on taking my Sammio Spyder on its first drive.

As gaz mentions, there's a hugh amount inside. This tends to be the manufacturers and parts.

Poor weather will put off the finished kit drivers who group outside.

Got any pics of the sammio ?  , that must be an exciting prospect - the first drive !

Heres a pic of the Sammio last week just after getting painted.

The bonnet needs repainting as a few bubbles has appeared but cant get it in for another 2 weeks so just putting the interior in and have put the lights in and wired it all up.

Im told by Extreme that my Murci should be painted in the next 2 weeks also so will hopefully get my hands on that before long.

I thought the DNA scudo sounded good with the exhaust, wouldn't say it sounded like a Ferrari but did sound exotic.
Agreed the DNA were really well finished.

Did you see the extreme355 for sale ?

There was a black 355 fiero kit which had genuine windows too.

My favorite cars were the diablos  @ countach on the italian replica stand truly stunning.

Did you see the extreme355 for sale ? NO  :o Looked at the cars for sale section first thing and again on my way out about 14:30 unless it was on the Italian stand for £14995?

There was a black 355 fiero kit which had genuine windows too. Yep seen that but the fiero kit is a different shape body kit to mine... Good on them for getting them to fit!

I've fitted genuine brakes on the front of mine and got a set of discs for the rear but as yet no calipers thought the fake carbon ceramic discs using separate bells and calipers on the DNA 430 looked convincing From a distance does anybody know where I can get these from in stainless!
