Road Trip to Hull
« on: May 06, 2014, 10:44:32 PM »
Took a long drive up to Hull to meet the eXtreme guys today
Made me feel welcome as soon as I got there. Thank you
Didn't need to ask many questions as they told me everything I needed to know about the build. Excellent stuff
Also showed me how to do certain aspects of the build to make it easier.
Was there for around 4 hours and could of easily stayed longer.
Wish it was my kit I saw, that is nearly ready for collection, and not Tekkigizmo's ( I'm a little envious but not showing it ) haha
Really appreciate today, thank you so much for the invite up
Now; how many sleeps is it until I collect my kit
Mickey ( a little excited ) London

I remember picking mine up in a van... kept looking round on the way home just to check it was still there :-)

It will come round fast and then the fun will start!  when you start get a build thread going as it will help in more ways than you think.

(one less day to go.... lol )

Good to hear my kit is nearly done, will most likely be making the trip up to Hull sometime after the nineteenth, used to drive the same route 5 nights a week I'll just have to remember to turn right when I get to the M18 instead of left. It's only 21 miles further than I used to drive but I'll be doing closer to 70 instead of the 50mph in the lorry.
It won't be long before you'll be making the trip back up to Hull mickey, the time will go quicker than you think.
