Right..... Day 2 of the adaptor saga
I have jacked up the car and removed the Peugeot wheel
I have settled the car down on the wishbone, so the suspension is under compression
I tried to put the new wheel roughly where it should go but was a mare to keep it in position
So I had to remove the caliper and pushed the wheel up flush with the hub face and took some measurements

I now make it that a 30mm adaptor/spacer should be right, and this will allow the wheel to clear the caliper

Kev that sound about right  :-\

Ok, had some time to look at the car again today
Took the rear wheels off, dropped the car down on the suspension onto wooden blocks and put the wheels in to where they will be.
Took the measurements, and it came out that I will need 65mm spacer/adaptors at the back

So that's 65mm for the rears and 30mm for the fronts

Here is a pic

To be continued..........

Cheers Matey
Still a bit anxious about the front spacers, being 30mm is there enough material there to make the 4 to 5 bolt adaptor
All the builds on here seem to have around 60mm+ adaptors  ???

Ummm if your using the same set up as Alex , can't you just get him to messure up the 1s he got from Extreme.. Then u know your bang on !!! Or pop down and see him ? Or get the Extreme ? I was a little lost the other day when old matty was banging on about the spacers on your tread. :)

Falling that use t5 hubs and do away with spacers ;)

Hi mate,
I will have a measure up today for you. She looks really sweet in that pic you just posted. Like Chris said, it may be simpler to bring the wheel over and try it in mine. Was it 5 x 108 pcd?

Cheers

No problem Matey, when you have a few minutes.
If anyone else has change the suspension, with the ready made kit, if you have a few minutes would you be able to measure from your front hub, horizontally out to the inner lip of the Ferrari wing
Just so I have few measurements from other builds
I used a plumb line taped to the inside of the wing and measured out to that
Thanks in advance
Mick

Don't forget, the measurement I gave you was to the outside edge of the wing buddy, that should add 15-20mm on.

Cheers

With the measurement you have given I take it your Offset would be more of a negative then a positive

I have emailed a company to see if I can have 30mm adaptors made up without it being a 2 piece adaptor
Just waiting on a reply
Thanks again
Mick
