Well done matey, it's surprising how much work has to go into the engine cover anyway, before we add on the stradale alteration.
Looks good  ;D

Cheers

Started getting the gap right across the top of the Engine Cover and Roof line
Had to make up a piece as the gap was about 10mm too big, so got a piece of 16swg angle and cut it to size
Then slotted it and bent it to match the roof line, then welded up the slots, drilled some holes in the roof and bonded it up under the roof skin
Filled and sanded

A couple of pics

Next job, the rain channel, then I can tidy it all up  ;)

To be continued..........

That is a great way to solve your problem matey. Also, there doesn't seem to be as much curve on the rear of the roof like mine, so that will make your life easier when fitting the Perspex window.

#Jealous that made me laugh out. Or should I say lol
Haha
 Has anyone seen these
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/321826186227

Was thinking they may be good for the rear brakes to make them look a bit better
All comments, good or bad, welcome

I like them mate. Great price, easy fit, but I want brake discs nearer to the wheel to fill the view, so will probably still get the fake brake kit later  :), or maybe these and home made discs?

Cheers

Good point Alex
I never noticed how far back my rear calipers and disks where, when I fitted my wheels
Will look silly if they are too far back

Mick I looked at the extreme set before I was doing what I'm now doing , and tbh I thought a bit pricy so looked about , and there bang on same as extreme sell and if you have a good look you can find fake disks so all you do is put at front of spacer, and extend clips; for fake calipers I'll have a such and see where I found them :)

Did some more work on my rain channel today
As I have fitted an original exhaust my rear bulkhead is sat further back into boot area
So for the rubber to work, that also has to be set further back, otherwise I will get fumes in the car
So cut a bit of plate and welded it to the top of the bulkhead

This is it all welded in and ground flush

And this is the upstand for the rubber seal to sit on

Now the rubber sits nicely across the underneath of the engine cover
Because of the shape of the engine cover bottom, there are a couple of small places where I need to build the engine cover out, to make a good seal. But minimal work  ;)
Oh and I need to sort out the corners
Mick
