Mick.. nice job on the mirrors they look awesome :-)  Are you going to drill three little holes in the middle so you can access your bolts to the stalks, although I doubt they will need to come off really.

Top job.. keep it up, looking forward to the updates.

Steve, I'm not going to bother drilling holes to get to the screws. There is no point really, plus I have put so much bonding paste in there, if I do clip a mirror it will pull the door off before breaking the stalk off haha

Nothing major as it is only little jobs to do now  ;D
Got the other mirror fitted. Now to finish them I need to reshape the base of the mirrors, to follow the line of the A' post
Shouldn't be difficult, I will then cut and piece in some of the extreme mirror base and bond it, that way it will fill the peugeot mirror to door rubber

No plans just yet Matey. I am hoping to be ready for a paint shop by March. I will leave all the prep for whoever paints it. They are better than me  :)

Very nice Mick, it would be great if you could get to Stoneleigh in her!

I've done mine a bit back to front to be honest. All these jobs I'm doing now on my lambo should of been done before paint. Every time I go in the garage I risk marking JD's workmanship.  Thankfully I'm been lucky so far with falling screwdrivers, jack handles but it wont be long... lol SO,  I would try and do as much as you can before. .. I lost interest in mine so the white has now spurred me on. 

As for those mirrors.... they look great :-)

I would love to be ready for Stoneleigh but need some nice days to finish her off

Anyway, a nice but cold day today, so thought I would finish off the Off Side mirror
Needed to get the eXtreme mirror base to fit the mirrors, which meant butchering my recently bought mirrors  :o

After measuring what needed to be removed, I set about my mirrors with my untrustworthy Dremel, I've had to exchange 4 of these poxy tools in the last 9 months





Then cut the base supplied by eXtreme





Then bonded the pieces together



Offered up again to make sure all ok



A little bit of filler and rubbing down



And tada !!!



The bases will be gloss black and the mirrors will be re laquered so that the carbon fibre can still be seen
Now where is that near side mirror  ;)
