Well I've had a week off work and the weather has been effing miserable  >:(
Back to work Wednesday  ::)

So the only thing I have been able to do is to copy what Alex360 has done, and sort out my steering wheel
I bought the xbox wheel off of eBay for £18, and that included them driving up from Folkestone and handing it to me. Result  ;D

Again, I took my dremel and cut away like a man posessed, just waiting for it to pack up like the other dremels I've had.
Anyway it didn't and this is the result so far

Thanks for the inspiration Alex  ;)
Mick

Cheers Guys
Where did you get your Steering Wheel Boss kit Alex
Also, I have never changed a steering wheel before so do I need a specific boss kit for a Peugeot 406 Coupe or do all boss kits fit
Cheers for any help on the matter
Mick

Hi Mickey,

I had a chat with JD, and also tried fitting my 106/206/306 boss kit on Chris 4u2nv's steering column, it didn't fit. JD has said that it will probably be simpler to cut the boss off the original steering wheel and bond/weld onto our boss kit.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Looks great Mick I brought a boss kit universal 1 and it doesn't fit mine :( so I really not sure what I'm going to do there , but like the suggestion Alex said JD made !!! Or take it to engineering company and cut it to fit your colum :)

Oh well looks like I'll be buying another Peugeot steering wheel and butchering it for the boss
I'll get it tig welded together
Better keep my original wheel just in case

Well Santa has been and gone, soon be Christmas again

Managed a little bit of time on my car today. As the weather wasn't great I sorted out the base of the Near Side mirror
Basically did the same as the Off Side one  ;)

First I chopped it about, along with the eXtreme mirror base, and bonded then together

Then rubbed it down and coated it in filler

Then rubbed that down

Now I have two mirrors ready for the experts to make perfect, paint the base and re-laquer the mirror housings

Mick

PS Hope you all have a great New Year
