Cheers Guys

Weather, as predicted, was very wet and very windy  >:(

So today I messed about again with the door, in my garage, and cut out the section where the window runner was fouling. Not sure if this is needed as it may be that the window, when fitted, will not go down as far as this.
But better cut it out now, before it has a nice paint job.

Basically started to tidy up the garage after doing this, as I couldn't think what I could do, then remembered that I need to weld some nuts onto the headlight adjusters.
So welded 6 nuts on, tidied up all the threads, gave them all a squirt of WD40 and they now all work perfectly

Then started to think of how to mount the headlights onto the car.
I want to be able to remove the front end, if need be, but leave the lights in situ.
So started to make up a bracket, but limited to what I can do, because I need to work from the car

This is what I'm going to do, sorry for my crude drawing

The light can be adjusted left, right, back and forwards on the two bolts going through the light unit and through the top plate
And can also be adjusted up and down on the threaded bar, welded to the box section and the tubing welded to the top bracket
The box section will be welded to the car

So made a small start

All credit for the idea, goes to Rick, over at kitcarz.co.uk

Oh well back to work tomorrow, fingers crossed for better weather on Sunday.
Mick

I feel left out not having a 360/430...  But it looks good whatever it is :-)

Keep up the mysterious work !

Great job mate, can you let me know how you got on with your door glass? Did it tell you to move it an inch out on the DVD?

Cheers

Cheers Guys
Alex on the Dvd it says about moving the top hole in an inch and the bottom hole down an inch
Steve, not sure if you are being serious or not, but if you are it is part of the headlight for a 360  :)
