A little update, especially for Brillo
Made my rear calipers a more permanent fit, as I had just welded a little bracket to the disc rear cover. This was just a temporary fix until I had time to make a couple of sturdy brackets
In picture 1 you will see that I welded the bracket to the rear wishbone
In picture 2 you can see that I bonded a 2 lengths of about 8.5" 10mm studding to the back of the calipers
I then bolted this to the bracket, picture 3
And in picture 4, with the wheels on and back on the ground
Now the thing to note is that the wheel pivots on the wishbone, when cornering and/or over uneven ground, so when the wheel is back on the ground, you need to have a gap of about 10mm between the fake disc and the closest part of the caliper
I have this amount of gap and have been driving over all types of uneven roads and at no point are they making contact
Hope this is of help
Mick
