F430
« on: September 15, 2014, 12:49:23 PM »
Heu Guys,

The Cannonball rally went through my town at the weekend there, loads of Ferraris Lambos etc. There was about 10 F430's. My question is I know that the Extreme 360 is pretty much bang on when is comes to dimensions and looks, was just wondering do any of ye know how the Extreme 430 compares to the real deal when it comes to dimensions>  Cheers  ;)

The 430 kit is more accurate than the 360 if anything. The rear quarter shape and area where the bootlid meets the rear quarters was tweaked when they did the 430. The main panels are perfect as they were moulded from my brand new genuine 430 panels. The genuine 360 and 430 body frames are essentially the same i.e. you can update a 360 to 430 looks. The doors, bonnet and roof are exactly the same. The front wings are the same contours just with different cut outs for the lights, so the conversion of the extreme 360 kit to extreme 430 kit was relatively simple.
The panels that needed to be changed were both rear wings, rear bumper, bootlid, both sills and front bumper. The front wings were modified to take my genuine lights, so the cutouts are spot on shape. The front lights again were moulded from my genuines, so perfect shape.
To get the look perfect it just needs careful work to make sure you end up with nice curvature on the roof and curved tops to the screen. It also needs the suspension set nice & low so the stance of the car is right.

Thanks for reply Drew,

Yeah the pics on the website look pretty impressive, it's just strange why no one has a completed Extreme F430, I can't see them anywhere and searched the web, believe me  ???

They had one 99% finished in at extreme last time I was there. It had everything done, I think they were just working on putting the fake brakes/badges and little trim bits on. I didnt take any pics, but maybe extreme may have some?

Not sure Drew,

Would love to see a completed one.  ;) Extreme do some serious work, it's a pity they wouldn't show more of the 430.

Just got an email from Kev at extreme today with attached photos of 430, showing exhaust layout, it must be completed now as attached photo was taken back in January!
