Hi Guys.
Well it’s been quite a few months since my last post as the Lambo has been stashed away for the winter months.
And hasent it been a long dark cold winter. With some added snow on a few occasions.
Well spring is nearly here once shitty Easter is out of the way.
The weather should be getting warmer and summer will soon be amongst us. We hope!
I haven’t done much with the car except for starting it and moving it ever 4 weeks to make sure I don’t get flat spots on the tyres.
It been locked up in my garage inside it’s inflatable bubble keeping her dry and warm.
So I’m sure the lambo has been the talk of the town in the past recent week as I decided to pop her on fleebay.
I didn’t have much idea on what she was actually worth in today’s market so I popped her in fleebay with a very high reserve to make sure that she was safe.
First of all.
There’s some right wan*kers on fleebay. The amount of insults I got was out of this world. Pure jealousy.
Insults consisting of it’s only worth £5000 and it won’t sell for much more.
Buy it now offers for £7000 and swaps for some right piles of crap.
Some of the insults actually got personal. Like I’m worse than cancer and they hope I die from it.
WTF. It actually got so bad I almost pulled it off.
I’ve never had anything like it.
Jee. She’s a kit car that I’ve restored. So I have no idea why so many people are so jealous.
Anyway I stick my middle finger up to all those twats and proceed to let the auction run.
So the bidding finally ended with a value of just over £28k. Picture of ended auction.
So Cerberus is worth £28k without anybody seeing her. That’s a good valuation.
Anyway I hope this gives other owners a idea of what these cars are worth.
NOT! FIVE GRAND! DOH! There no MR2 Ferrari’s. LOL
So.
Now that’s out of the way it’s time to prepair Cerberus for the summer.
I have booked her in at the body shop again as there is a few cracks, blemishes and bubbles that need attention.
I plan to keep ahead of them as they will soon add up. The body is always flexing when you drive her so there bound to be a few cracks appear.
I did catch the passenger side air vent on the garage door one day giving it a nice small scrape
so that need repairing as well.
the sun was shining today. So I have dug the car out to start preparing her for the body shop.
You sort of forget what she looks like when you first get her out after a long period. And your blown away by her beauty.
Yep that’s mine! Still takes my breath away.
So I need to remove all the grills, rear lights and loosen the rear panel so the body shop can get access.
Yes the body shop can do it but as I know exactly how she assembled it’s easier for me to do it.
Whilst the rear is fully open I take a few reminder photos you.
Ummm just look at that engine.
So I have a few jobs to do before she goes in for a touch up.
More to follow.
I’m going to make a few changes to Cerberus this year so watch thins space.
Yep this post is back up and running
