Just a quick update.
I popped to the body shop today to check on the cars progress.
As there fitting the car in between jobs keeping the cost down it’s taking longer than it normally would.
I’m not moaning as there work is top notch.
They have been repairing all the cracks bubbles and blemishes.
Now the repairs are filled there now at the filler primer stage and soon she’s to be painted.
As we are having such nice weather this week I’m missing the car and I’d rather be driving it than watching it being painted.
Bummer. But I’m sure there will be nice weather again one day soon. LOL.

HI Guys.
Finally something to update with.
I popped to the body shop today and Cerberus is finally ready to come home.
They have repaired all the cracks blemishes and marks that I wanted fixing.
Just a couple of bits left to paint and she’s good to go.
I’ve booked the return collection for next Friday 18th.
Waahoo.  :o
With all this summer weather I have been pulling my hair out with no lambo to enjoy.
Of course as soon as she comes home it’s going to be the end of summer and will now rain for the rest of eternity. LOL.
Will update when it happens.

Hi Guys.
Time for a update.
I popped to the body shop yesterday (Thursday) to see if we were still on for me to collect me lambo in the morning.
Yep! She’s all done. They were just finishing off one last thing on the left hand bat wing. But was informed that we were good to go.
So with all this royal wedding stuff going on. I myself was quite excited as I was getting my car back.
I have put my heart and soul into this car and have felt like there was a part missing for the last 6 weeks whilst the body shop was performing there magic.
The car was just coming out of the spray booth when I took a few photos for you lot.

So today’s the day (Friday).
I booked the chap who specialises in super car delivery’s again as he’s great.
I met him at the body shop at 11am this morning.
The body shop had just finished finished giving Cerberus a quick clean and hoover ready for me to take her home.
Manage to take a few photos of the process as always.
As before everything worked like clock work.
We loaded the car and transported the car back home.
Hurray she’s home.
The body shop has done a fantastic job on Cerberus again. There’s not a mark or blemish on her.
So now I have to put the grills and rear lights back on.
I zip her up back in her bubble now until next week.
I will get around to this next week so more then.

Time for a update.
Well today the sun was shining and the weather was nice so what else was there to do than put Cerberus back together.
Because of work commitments I haven’t had time to even touch the car since I got her back.
So first thing to do is to remove the rear panel.
I then refit the rear lights and rear grills.
It’s not long before she looks like a car again.
I then re align the bat wings so they open and close evenly and then finish off with the pop up rear spoiler.
Oh yes she looks fantastic. So there’s only one thing left to do.
Let’s take her for a spin.
It’s been 7 months since I last drove her. Ummm yes it’s nice.
You forget what it’s like to drive a Lamborghini and the amount of attention it gets.
You go from being a ordinary person so some sort of celebrity.
Love it.  8)
So next week if the weathers good I have some detailing to do to bring her back to perfection. So more then.

Hi guys.
Just a quick update.
I don’t know if it’s me but since I’ve had the lambo back. Every time I unzip the bubble and get the car out it starts to rain.
Its like there’s a cloud following me around. It’s really depressing.
Anyway.
It wasn’t raining this afternoon so I finally managed to get the car out to fit my headlight vents.
Cerberus suffers from terrible headlight condensation.
Because there not 100% water tight they can get damp inside and mist up inside.
So I needed a solution to stop this.
They best way to dry out the headlights is to remove the headlight hole back covers under the wheel arches and leave them open to the air whilst the car is in its bubble.
They dry out nicely.
When I re seal the lights it’s not long before they start to mist up again when I wash the car.
I can’t drive with the headlight backs off as the lights will just fill up with crap from the road.
Whilst I was visiting a boat chandeliers with a friend. As he was buying crap for his boat. I came across some stainless steel vents. You simply twist to open and close them.
They just happened to be the perfect size to fit my headlight holes on the lambo.
So I brought 2 of them.
Rather than re sealing the headlight backs I have fitted the vents instead.
So now when the car is in its bubble or garage I can have them open to let the head lights breath to dry. When I go out on the road I can simply close them to seal them up.
Time will tell to see how the vents perform.
I still have more jobs to do to bring her up to date so more then.

Good idea!

Yacht chandlers are handy. I fitted high capacity 12v bilge blowers between my engine bay and the wheel arches, enormous output (enough to make your trousers flap, if stood beside my front wheel), kicks the hot out. They're designed to clear settling gases in boat hulls.

Time for a update.

Now I’m finally back from holiday.
It’s nice to get away for a week. No work, stress etc.
I have been itching to get the lambo out.
A neighbor of mine runs the west Berkshire car club and Cerberus got invited to one of there evening meets.
For those who are interested and would like to come along with there toy it’s held at the Shire Horse Pub.
Bath road, Littlewick Green, Maidenhead, SL6 3QA.
It’s held every second Wednesday of every month in the evening after 7.30pm.
There’s lots of classic cars to include Americans, old Volkswagens etc.
Of course when you turn up to a vintage classic car show in a bright orange Lamborghini Murcielago you steal the show.
I had somebody ask me to do the flames! As I was driving in. Yea! Ok LOL.
She had crowds around her, I’ve never experienced anything like it. loads of questions and interest about her. A real celebrity for sure. I might as well be Michael Jackson LOL.
I did manage to take a few quick photos for you lot once the crowds died down.
This was Cerberus first official show and the interest was remarkable.
I was parked next to a lovely red corvette. Nobody even looked at it once. Amazing what a Italian super car can do.

Anyway.
This week I need to get Cerberus ready for her MOT as it’s due 12th July. Again!
So I have to refit the seat runners again! And I’m also going to give her a full service ready for this summer.
So more then.

Fantastic pics, and so good to see you using the car (so many seem to be stuck in peoples garages, collecting dust).

Enjoy!
