new member,rear windscreen question?
« on: May 30, 2015, 11:16:48 AM »
Hi everyone. I'm glad to be part of the club & i've just bought a part finished 360 from a member on here  :D I had a bit of a nightmare as when I was trailering it back the rear windscreen blew out  :-\ where can I get hold of a new one & how much are they? also is the front windscreen just a standard 406 one that goes in? Many thanks, Danny

Hi Danny, and welcome to the forum, the rear screen is just perspex, so any plastics company should be able to sort it for you

Cheers

Thanks guys. To be honest I was gonna just make my own out of perspex but wanted to make sure it was the correct size. I'll have a proper look at it when I get chance & maybe use some pictures as a reference

Hi Danny,
I haven't fitted mine yet, but I offered it in place and it is approx 5mm wider than the opening, to allow us to curve the screen a bit when fitting

Heh Brian I fitted a genuine engine cover with glass on mine ,you would need to change to genuine ferrari hinges or redrill the ferrari engine cover to take your hinges , cheer jd
