Gear knob and H gate- F360
« on: July 28, 2015, 10:52:52 PM »
I've not seen one done well on the Extreme 360 yet, can someone prove me wrong????

Have seen a couple of Extreme 360's for sale which look like they've had a go, and given up (I guess because the old 406 Coupe knob and wide piece on the stick and very tricky, if not impossible to remove).

I cant wait to get rid of that gear stick gaiter and awful looking gear stick/knob

Hi Brian page 63 in my build diary ,the gear lever is very easy to cut down I then fitted a sleeve on to what was left of the Oem pug gear-lever then welded a piece of 10mm stainless bar to this, threaded the end and fitted a genuine ferrari gear knob  hope this helps cheers jd

Hi JD, thanks for this!!

Its obviously tricky for many. Guess the original pug gear stick shaftends up in a state, hence the sleeve. will have a look on your build

Cheers

Thanks Sean.

I think JD needs to have an index on his excellent build thread, I've a slow internet connection where I live, go back to page 50 and havn't seen the gear stick mod yet
