Hi Trevor , guys  latest update ,ok so once the window and frame were in and working it was time to finish tidying the inner door , the first thing to address was the metal hockey stick had never been fitted to the door which secures the end door cap ,so I fabricated a new one of these and welded it in place and riveted it to the fibreglass door cap then fibreglassed it in place prepared it primed it and painted it ,I then made the brackets to secure the inner metal door panel back in place , iv also got the roof just about on its final skimming on this side so  job done , pasenger side now started , here's a few pics cheers jd

Hi Trevor , guys time for a little update , so the passengers side window is all fitted and working now it's time to finish the roof and start some bodywork ,
As iv had a few messages about the window conversion here are a few pis which should help ( sorry for using your build thread Trevor ) but this shows what's involved,
Ok once you hav the window and frame cut and in place you need to make a bracket to mount the Peugeot window motor to the Audi frame pic 1
You then need to cut the 3 spacer s off the Audi motor , pic 2
Then remove the plate from top of Audi motor and remove the white splined bush  pic 3
The bush needs to be cut down pic 4
Then you need to remove the circlip from the Peugeot motor that holds the metal sprocket in place pic 5
Ok now is the tricky part  you need to grind down the top sprocket off the Peugeot motor and weld a small m8 nut onto it while this is still hot you need to press the nylon white bush down onto this and putting a bolt through the centre tighten it up into the m8 nut thus pulling the bush flush with the sprocket pic 6
Now you need to cut the metal pin on the Peugeot motor flush with the first sprocket then fit the sprocket back in  place pic 7
Fit the newly made fixing plate in place and your ready to assemble it all together pic 8
Wow that sounds complicated lol  good look or just pm me cheers jd
First pis is pic 1
