Once I got the dash all cut I made a sealed box inside of the dash so the air could only come through the new vents , here's a pic with the vents fibreglassed in place ,

Hi Simon ,guys  ok so the dash continued iv finished all the prep on the dash put a coat of plastic primer on it, then primed it with primer filler so that's ready to rub out and paint black again , not to bore you with all the pictures of filling the dash to make it perfect so here's a few ,
The next job was the steering wheel , with the universal steering wheel and boss removed I managed to redrill the boss so it bolted straight on the the new st wheel,   job done, it looks great , cheers .

Looking great JD/Simon.
Love the vents JD very clever.
Doubt if ever I'd do it or be able to but I was just wondering what filler you use around the vents. I presume It's fairly flexible and spongy because the dash is soft isn't it.
Cheers in advance and loving the updates. :)

Wow, thats great work! would love to do that. How are you getting the paint and fillet to adhere to the old dash surface?

Looks amazing already!!
