As for 'The List' Mick.. Yep and how did you know I had one?

Don't we all have one  ;)
But to be fair my Wife's list of things for me to do is a hell of a lot longer then my list of things for me to do  ::)

I ordered this a few weeks ago.. it finally came :-)

Now, I did have a proper lambo badge for the rear but I snapped it sadly trying to straighten it.  I've been looking for another but at £150+ it wasn't happening!

So, after lots of searching I found you could buy the one off the Hurricane for £25. It's plastic not metal and not as rounded but to be honest it's only the lambo police that will notice it's not the right one.. just need to fit it now :-)

Nice find at that price Steve , and like you say only the Lambo police would know the difference  :)

Well... the door rebuild can continue, these are proper pucker Murcie handles. Don't ever tell the wife how much these cost!

Needs must and all..... :-)

Sods law says I'll find the other diablo handle the moment I step into the garage that I've been looking months for.

All I've done is asked the local fab shop to cut me a piece of aluminium so I can sit it infront of the dash. Not been to collect it yet!  But will next week.. I'll jump back on it soon I promise. :-)

hmm 360, now stop it JD

So it's been a while since I last posted, summer and winter have passed and not a lot has been going on with the build :-(  Well, that was until this week!!

I've been doing some thinking over the last month, planning and wondering when the warmer weather would come so I could start again.

Not much to show other than I've added the center fiberglass murcie bit to a steering wheel. got the horn to work when you press down. The pucker one has a silver ring going round the outside so I've ordered a 120mm steel ring off eBay for £2. I think its to make a dream catcher or something, anyway once that comes I'll give it a coat of paint.

I know it's only small, but its progress.. lol  Might even start to finish off my door cards this week!

Thanks JD.. :-)  You will have to PM me your number as the one I have went straight to answer phone. I'm passing you quite often at the moment as I've got work at Forthbanks Police station in Newcastle on, infact I'm there Monday!

Anyway, on with the door cards!  .. So not much left on this door now, I have the cable to run to the catch but other than that it's pretty much ready for trimming :-)

Hoping to have both door cards ready to cover by the end of next week.. that's the goal anyway.

I doubt I will make Stoneleigh Mickey, well I might but the car won't, at least I'm doing a bit again. My aim is to get the doors and the dash ends finished ready for trimming this week. Just been and got some cable for the door handles, trying to get them working tonight so I can actually open the door from the inside, how good will that be :-)  Just 3D printing out some bits at the moment for it.

My target is 'sometime in the summer' ... so we shall see.  Will post some photos later...

Top class.

Been looking at 3D printers for a while but it's a bit of a minefield. Can I ask what make yours is and have you found any downsides with it?

Cheers, Tone
