not posted for ages but I intend to get things moving on this now..

now I've sold my smartie I decided to buy a double din stereo. This one's got a rear view cam input which was my main reason for getting it. I've just spent a hour or so getting it upgraded to the latest firmware, fixing a usb wire.. job done :-)

it's a Pioneer F900BT.. I got it for £350 off ebay and just finished upgrading the firmware on it :-) the splash screen is just a jpg you can set on bootup :-).

They have a F910BT out I think but there aint much difference from what I can see.

They do two models F700BT and F900BT the 900 has a DVDRom / 700 has a cd, but I think thats ths only difference. It does your normal radio / cd / dvd / video / divx / bluetooth for phone / Satnav + all the rest you can mod as it's running on winCE.

It's running Igo 8.3 satnav but I think you can mod tomtom onto it :-) might have a go at this.

I got fed up of my car pc.. this is a all in one solution that should work all the time :-) O and it's got rear cam add on which was the main reason for buying it.

Re - murci build.

I have my rear boot / spoiler here. I've added some hinge's to it so it now moves up and down. I'm waiting on a bit from work so I can then add some brackets for the actuator.. will get a vid of it going up and down when it's done :-)

:-) might even get a little video as my palm pre's just been updated..

I am hoping to get down tomorrow all being well. I should have my spoiler going up and down by then. Just waiting for a bit of metal from work I'm getting cut. It's nothing special, just three hinges from B&Q.. should do the job I hope.

I'm looking at getting some door cards from lambolambo when he's done. The one's I bought from IRK from Mad mechanics forum just need far to much work to get them to fit.. unsure what I'm going to be doing with them.

O.. and here are some pictures.. very old ones mind..

well here are a couple of pic's. I've decided to have a go at making my rear spoiler go up and down..

The actuator is 12v and will work off a little box I am making.

I'm hoping to get down to do my car tomorrow for the first time in ages.. that's if Jon's about. :-)
