Roof Adjustment
« on: February 01, 2010, 11:43:45 PM »
Hi there.

Yes !! I just started to build my Ferrari 360 replica  ;D
And I'm now ready to cut off the roof, the back and the A and B pillar, but before I do, I have a question, and I hope someone can help.

Do you need to support or to strenghten up the bottem of the car, before you're cutting these crusial elements of the car ?
I don't want the car to collapse into the middle, because the whole car frame structure is cutted (temporarry)
So do you need to put anything under the bottemplate of the car, or perhaps you need to make another ajustment to keep the cage safe from collapse ?

Thanks Tristan (Netherlands)

when cutting the b pillar you have to put in as long as possible box steel section to beef up the joint.
