Extreme 355 / F355 KIT
« on: April 19, 2018, 01:18:16 AM »
Hi Gents, after selling my F355 replica a couple of years ago I want to build another one. Not kidding when I say that I think about it like a lost lover. Unfortunately money is an issue. Where can I get a dirt cheap 355 kit - doesn't have to be Extreme, doesn't even have to be that good as I can repair it myself

Hi chaps, been chatting to a guy from SRC Kitcars - I approached them looking for a F355 kit and am now considering their 458 celica based kit. See some pics attached.

Based on an SL500, I must say that I am pretty impressed

Extreme 360 / My new 360
« on: September 19, 2011, 03:32:12 AM »
Hi Guys, you may know that I originally wanted to build a 360, but the 406Coupe in South Africa is very rare and costs about 15,000 pounds for a good used one. The 355 kit I bought cost me double before it even got here - the shipping was about 2000pounds, taxes another 2k and clearing fees and inland haulage another 1k. So if you wanted to build a kitcar, you are at a 20,000 pound disadvantage before you even start.

Now imagine my shock when I went to see some guy who was recommended to me to do some work on my 355 and saw a 90% complete Extreme 360 on sale for approx 20,000 pounds. While I dont think the build quality is great, I am sooo excited. I would like to buy it - what do you guys think?

Extreme 355 / I am dangerously close to finishing my car

Finally ready for paint and for interior to be redone

I used 3M Di Noc for the rear - nicely done in a carbon fibre finish. Will see how well it goes with the red paint
