Due to my mum now being in a care home the car is back for sale at a reduced price of £6995 for a fast sale. Massive bargain for someone looking to get in to kit cars as the interior needs some finishing touches to keep you going. Call or message me for details.

I'm at work too until midnight but what info do you need. The build diary explains a lot but from memory it's a 1998 3.0 v6 Peugeot chassis that was in great condition with low miles when I got her.

This is the kind of colour option I may switch to:-

Well the time has come for me to part ways with my lovely white 360. I've had it since I started the build in 2009. Please feel free to take a look at my build diary below. All the important welding work was carried out by Extreme. The project was finished off by the guys at Auto Transformations who I believe now own Extreme. My car was fitted with a number of newer parts not seen on the older conversions such as Gaz suspension and various other upgrades. It has just flown through it's MOT and service for the second time so is totally road worthy.

Please note that even though the car is currently white I intend to plastidip wrap it in another colour. If you are interested but want another colour then this can be done at no extra cost. I may go for the matte grey look :-)

The spacers are on the car and have pushed the wheels out to fill the arches so ignore the pics where they look too far in.

Price is £9995 but open to offers.

Just a quick update (and a big thanks to extreme for being so quick to help). Got all the parts but I phoned Peugeot for some part numbers and they have now stopped making most parts for the 406 coupe. The whole front end and exhaust system is no longer in production. I know you can get non pug parts from plenty of other places but I didn't think the car would be old enough for them to stop.

I've just come to MOT my car and have hit a slight problem. The first is that it needs a new cat and was wondering if anyone new the 3.0l v6 part number since its a Sunday and I can't find it online.

My next problem is that despite the car having done less than 200 miles the front off side spring has snapped. Not very good considering how much these lowering kits cost. I've emailed extreme but not had a reply yet but are they the only place that can replace them?

Finally what sort of tool ( I presume a c spanner) is required to adjust the suspension ride height. Once the MOT goes through I need to raise it by an inch.

Thanks

I think all the later kits came with this bumper:-

If they are in pristine condition I suggest you clean them up and take Nother photo. No one is going to want them at that price and looking like that.

Obviously done before the lights were fitted.

Hi i'm thinking about the front end (wings front bumper and bonnet). Has anyone ever made the hole front as a 'clam shell' so if you need to do anything to the engine etc you can remove the hole front in one. This would need the bumper fixing to the wings and front panel, frame work making to take the bonnet hinges and wing metal supports.
brackets making to fix on to the struts so you can un-bolt at the top and i was thinking of un-bolting the front sub-frame  to re-move the hole front end..... would this work? would the wings clear the 406 body work?

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I did this on my 360 and it works great. Just two bolts at the front and 2 each side near the wheel arches and the whole front end lifts up and forward. The light fittings are on extra long wires so once the front shell is off they just unplug. It's great if you need any work doing on the engine as some components can be hidden under the front arches.

Call a company called damptech or auto transformations above. They will prob have a plate knocking around and can give you the exact dimensions or may Ben be able to make you one cheaply. To measure it I'd have to take the front end of my car off which will have to wait a while until I get chance.

The slope in roof line means its almost impossible for anyone other than a baby to use the rear seats so keeping them has little advantage other than to keep interior trim costs down.

It's a bit of an open ended question. You could get 350 out of it but it would take some custom turbo or supercharger work. Why not add NOS for a cheaper and easier way to gain extra horses when you need them.

If you raise the roof by 15mm won't you need to put a second skin on?
