watch this space mate......myself and Auto transformations are investigating the concept.

I really dont want plastic side windows....it might be 2 or 3 weeks before we have any headway.

The initial thoughts are that we cut out the Peugeot door outer skin to give a full Ferrari doors width and use the A3 door window frame and motor as a complete unit.

The window is VERY close to the shape we need, but will require a few mm off it to make it a perfect fit.

This will be a MAJOR breakthrough if we Auto T can get this working as all I hear is issues with the windows not fitting/working properly....
I wish I was rich!!

I would imagine it would have to be a 3 door to get the right length.

Yep, I'm working on this one too! A few mm off the glass just isnt an option though. Tempered glass just won't accept anything being shaved off it. It is possible to sand it or trim a small amount off, but it becomes very unstable and won't take long before the whole thing shatters.
I have investigated this through every engineering contact I have (I'm ex military jet engineer and we used to use loads of different engineering companies and technologies.) And noone can cut or trim temprered.
The more working on it the better though, hopefully one of us will come up with a good method!

It is the 3dr btw.

I believe it was the guy making the 360 with the lotus chassis 'mydads360' that came up with the idea of using the Audi glass, so if that's right, all credit to you mate!

Yep, the core is under tension so any attempt to cut or reduce it will result in a rather large and complicated jigsaw puzzle. It has to be annealed before its cut but that circumvents the point of having tempered glass.  :(

We've tried it and it doesn't fit. Wrong shape and as it's tempered it can not be cut.

We got hold of an A3 glass and tried it in the door and found the that the glass was too long. The curve at the top of the glass is different to peugeot and where the glass meets the B-post, They run at different angles.
