Website problems
« on: January 30, 2013, 04:05:09 PM »
Apologies for the downtime... It was caused by our host upgrading the security on the server, this disabled the php code the site runs on, hence the white screen.

They have now addressed the issue so it should be back to normal now :-)

I was wondering if there is any objection in opening the forums back up to the public?

Thanks,

Steve

I have no objection to re-opening the forum to the public.

If it is, then it maybe just needs monitoring as to the amount of dumb comments etc that it attracted before that pi55ed everone off?

The fact the forum is closed does seem to attract negative comment on other forums.

Closing the forum to non extreme owners has slowed the activity down considerably, opening it up would be nice, but what about all the negative comments aimed at the company? I don't envy the administrators on this topic.  Damned if you do damned if you don't

If anyone notices any probs just pm me and I will try to sort it. I can't pm you back till later evening though cos my phone won't do the pm security thing!
