Then once it went off, removed whole front end, turned upside down and chucked some more fibrefill at it lol

So, as you can see, I can weld a plate to the underside of the box section, which can be "adjusted", to slide tightly under the bumper joining it hopefully making a non flappy result :)

Great job on the front panel alex simular to what I did only I used flat 2mm plate with brackets on that and a pair of brackets on the car to bolt it down nice and tight , so the spacers were wrong well at least you can get the new ones to match your new wheels  can't wait to see it sat on proper set of wheels ,cheers jd

Well, MiniAL and I got the battery tray fitted yesterday, found that we had to trim up tight to to bumper mount and left a touch to allow removal and fitting of the battery.
Removed horn, took the first bracket off, and remounted it above the battery out of the way.
The plastic thingy on inside of the wing got in the way a bit, but managed to leave it in situ.
Negative battery lead, no problem.
Positive lead, unbolted short lead from fuse box, where it is joined to main terminal, re routed main lead with battery terminal, down and through convenient large cut out behind battery, and plan to extend smaller cable and route through 32mm? Existing rubber grommet.
Happy with how straightforward it was????

Cheers

Hi JD,

That is Ferrari pink, I will have you know.
Found the wheels I want, will have too spray them silver tho. Am waiting for spacers to come back, so I can check they are 108 PCD against my ferrari wheels, before I order the new wheels though.
Been out in the garage today, practising on MiniALs moped faring repairs, before doing my 360, just 3 words............TOO DAMN COLD!!!!!

Well, a quick update, went out to her on Friday, and re- did the off side drive shaft, as I didn't weld it straight enough the first time :(
Never mind, only took about an hour in total, and gave me a chance to sort out the spring clip at the top of the gaz strut, that holds the shock in at the same time.
MiniAL and I had a serious discussion and she is now called "Elouise"........................make of that what you will lol

Went out yesterday and finally got the b posts welded up with plates, and the ends of the door where the lock panel is. At least the welding kept me warm.

Poxy weather is depressing. Still, at least you are getting jobs done  ;)
When you say the Stradale Wing, do you mean the bit on the engine cover, where the third light goes.
