Mick

I am using it on my door cards, bulkhead and quarter light pods, then spraying it with bradleys ferrari creme leather paint. The faux leather I used was just too thin and doesn't "feel" right.

Just wondering if your overheating issues were fixed, as you expected (I assume so)?

Coming back from a car show yesterday (driving like an old man, no traffic jams, 45min trip on M-way), my engine temp went to 110 and the STOP warning light came on. The AC doesnt appear to function and I was messing with the controls, had it switched on, also one of the fans seems to be a bit slow, could be a dodgy connection like you had. I'll probably fit a manual fan override, so I have full control of the fans at all times

Did an hour round trip in her today, had to stop half way to my office to let her cool down, 110degrees, STOP warning light up etc.
Had a coffee, whiz and cigarette break at the garage, then got back ok.
Only the one fan was working, but after an hour on her this evening, I found it was a bad connection at the rear of the fan behind the condenser rad.
Pulled it out, squirted wd40 and put back in, all good now, so hopefully, it's goodbye to the overheating issues, yay!

Hi Brian,
No,I haven't sorted the overheating issues yet, as I plan to change out my heater matrix shortly.
However, after much discussion and research, I have decided that it is down to not having enough air through the rad at higher constant speed.
I have just ordered a front splitter for a transit custom (£109 from EBay), and will look to see if this can be adapted to fit my car, with a return curve to help force more air through my radiator.
Also, after speaking with the GOD of extreme kit cars (that's you JD, don't deny it lol), it was also a good idea to remove the A/C and condenser rad, allowing easier flow of air through the rad.
I can always open my windows if it gets too hot.

I am currently finishing building my ferraris new home, and got fencing to do to keep Mrs Alex360 happy, then strip the sports exhaust off my spare donor and the heater matrix, before finally getting to work on mine again.

Hope the ideas above help you and other builders, and I will post updates as I go.

Cheers

Ferrari home update.....
Got the ceiling in, fitted the right hand side bank of 4 led light panels, cladded the rest of the exterior ready for black shiplap, then crashed out with man-flu.
Apparently, a woman about to give birth can almost understand the pain we have to put up with when we get man flu.....................

Cheers
