Hi Simon ,guys , ok with the dash done it was time to start the cockpit bulkhead , Simon managed to get an original Oem window so I bonded it into the extreme bulk and fitted that securely in place , then I made  the lower frame and welded that in place , next was to make some panels up and seal it all in place , that just leaves the window surround parts to fit and seal , ok so while that was all drying I repositioned the battery so it would clear the Oem engine frame Simon required, I rested the engine frame in place in accordance with the Oem engine side panels to see how  it looks and it will look sweet , ok some pics f,or now cheers jd

Hi Simon , guys , this weeks update , ok with the bulk finished and sealed I sprayed some black textured pain in the rear engine compartment ( boot lol ) to tidy it all up, then I started on the fuel filler pipe move, once it was all disconnected from the drivers side I rerouted it to match up with the new filler neck on the pasenger side , once that was done I filled the old hole that  was left in the rear quarter , just waiting on some fuel hose to connect it all up now . And then  finish the fuel cap .
I then made and bolted a bar to the Oem engine cradle and fitted a hinge so it can be lifted up to store things underneath , next job is to now build up the ferrari fake engine  :), here's a few pics for now .

Love the engineering gone into the bulkhead, looks right and will strengthen the car too.

Such a shame this excellent work is coming to an end, but JD you must remember, if for any reason it doesn't work out for you at your new place, please come back, you could even go mobile, and be the Nakai-San of the tailor made Ferrari creation, that legendary guy who does bodykits on the 911. Food, accommodation etc provided, just get a big van!

Hi Simon , guys  short week this week as back to France for a week ,
But here's a little update , first I trimmed and bonded the mondeo fuel flap in place then bonded the Ferrari flap to it, then I fitted the filler neck so I'm just waiting on the filler pipe I ordered to come and then I can connect it all up and job done , also bonded the genuine alloy fuel filler cap on to the mondeo one .
Then it was on to the fake engine ,first I made and bonded some stainless pipe into the plenumbs then I had to make some adapters to connect the throttle bodies to the rubber hoses with that done I then trimmed and fitted the genuine cavilino horse emblem to the middle of the plenumbs ,next job is to get it all preped and painted in the red crackle finish then I can put it all together.  Here's a few pics cheers jd
