Soon to be a very Proud Extreme 360 owner
« on: May 11, 2018, 08:12:40 PM »
Hi Guys quick introduction,  I 'am Dave 34 tomorrow,  Based in Manchester.
I have been looking at buying an extreme 360 for a while and I am very pleased to say i have agreed to buy a Forum members car I wont say who just yet as i think it is only right and fair to keep that detail private.  I am hoping to get the car towards the end of June.  I am setting myself the target of getting the interior completed for the stoneleigh dates for next year to give me plenty of time to source some genuine seats and bits and bobs to finish the car.   I cant wait to get started i hope i can pick many of your brains in the future,

the first question id like to ask for those that have the gen seats can they bolt straight in or do they require re fab rails etc? for high reasons.

i will upload plenty of pics once i pick the car up,

thx guys,  I look forward to meeting some of you at shows etc,

Dave

Hi Dave
Congrats on the purchase, can't wait for the pictures
Yes, you will need to weld in some brackets to take the OEM seats
There should be some pictures on my build diary, Alex360's and JD's, as we have all done this
Hope this helps
There is always plenty of help on here if you need it  ;)

Hi Dave, I can't make that show due to other commitments, heard its a good one though. I'm intrigued as to whose card you've bought.
Are you in the Italian Supercar replica group or DNA & Extreme group on FB? maybe chat there

Well Today was the day i picked up my car,   I Have bought Colin360's car. that he built himself. and has a build thread on here.  I am very pleased with the car and cant wait to get to work on the interior,  I would like to get some cream leather gen seats and look to do the round air vent mod on the dash and paint with the Bradleys liquid paint that JD And a few others have used in black and cream.   I have bought a 360 gen centre console the car already has the gear stick h gate completed so hopefully wont be to bad of a job to change from pug to ferrari console,  the one job I really would like to have done though is change the Current windows from the perspex to the Audi A3 Glass or OEM.  I would love to know if anyone could possible recommend someone that can undertake this work for me on the glass mod,  normally I would approach JD Himself but I believe he is already tied up with last min jobs for other member and his move away.   if any other members can do this or know of someone that can please do let me know.   the car needs a good clean but once ive done this and given her a good polish ill be sure to get some pics on but in the mean time here is a quick one from today.
