This summer should be no problem at all.  ;D  It may not initially look like its that far on to some, but like steve said, all the big jobs and hard work has been done.

Ready for paint soon!!!!

:-)

Well just been spending a bit of money on the following things....

CCD small reverse camera £50 from ebay.. this will go just above my reg plate

LED Side repeaters.. just need to drill a tiny hole now to get them into position, unsure what these will look like, will let you know.

BMW Sunvisors off an M3 Cab £40 including light &  holder bit off ebay.. will let you know if they fit.

Side lights next....

Thinking about getting these dials.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-MR2-TURBO-180MPH-GLOW-WHITE-DIAL-KIT-TY-508D_W0QQitemZ250597421281QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3a58c530e1

They glow at night. I'm not happy having the turbo dial so was either thinking about just getting a blank with a lambo logo on it or seeing if a reversing sense gauge would fit in it's place.

hmm will have a think.

I can't really afford to do a copy dash at the moment. I do know the guy at lockwood very well but they dont do the lightup dials I'm after.. maybe once I've saved up a little it will be an option I can go for.. but for now I will be keeping the original MR2 dash.

cant wait for plenty of photos of the murcie, whilst am at it, xpert, yourbuild seems have gone very quiet. I really think both of you will produce the finest example/quality of a 360 and murcie.

Im trying to keep an eye out for a low mileage 320 manual to do a supercharged dtm conversion aswell as lowered as much as possible and tinted windows.

Well I went down last night and did a few bits.....

The side indicator lenses came so I checked to see if these fitted. The murcie front wing where they fit has a slight curve to it so I needed to put a bit of heat onto the indicator which then allowed me to bend it slightly... however I managed to crack one as it wasn't warm enough. So I've now ordered a new smoked set off ebay.

Jon spent an hour playing with one of the head lights and its now getting to the point where it just all needs building up.. all the components have been sourced and it just needs testing.

Below are afew pictures.. The Cills and rear bumper have now been painted in primer and are looking good. Evans motorsports have made the cills / front and rear bumper detachable so these can be painted off the car.

Because I've got kids he has also beefed up the inner cills and made it so the internal closer panel is no longer needed for strength. Pics below..

more to come :-)

Headlights and dials this week I hope.

I bet you cant wait.. make sure you post some pictures.........

I bought a steering wheel today :-).. just wondering if lambolambo is going to mould the center so I can see if I can make it fit :-)

My smoked black led indicators arrived today.. very happy with these ones, the silver ones didn't look right I thought

Just waiting to get my clock facia swapped over from a 180 to 160mph as I got the wrong ones.. but he isnt answering my emails at the moment.

I decided to mould the Airbag cover with fibreglass.
Cover only.
Means its good from the outside and fibres at it's back.

At first, i thought i can mould it inside-out with silicone.
But, I don't think any best on earth resin will work that out.
IMPOSSIBLE? Tell yourself "I'm-possible!"

Well.. my first idea was to just make a simple Lamborghini badge and stick it in the middle of this wheel..

Maybe I could fit your middle over it.. something like this maybe ??
